Light Tackle fishing in Hawaii can be very challenging and is a very enjoyable experience. There are many different types of fish that can be caught and there are many different styles to utilize, depending on what you want to catch and the style of fishing you like to do. There are alot of fishing applications that you are used to, that can be utilized in saltwater......from shoreline spinning, wading out on the flats and spinning or fly fishing from a boat. Our guides have over 20 years experience fishing the many different styles and have expert knowledge of the different conditions and terrain that you may encounter, fishing in Hawaii. There are many different types of lures that you can use...... surface plugs, spoons, jigs and even fly. Even the tackle that you use is flexible, from 1lb. test, ultralight to 15lb. test medium. Some of the target fish include: Bluefin Trevelly, Giant Trevelly, Bonefish, Ladyfish, Moana, Weke, Barracuda and a variety of reef fish.
